I like the clock wipe to make a Time Lord symbol.

animation shop has a bazillion effects I've never played with.
It would be easier to play with if it didn't keep getting stuck. I'm sure it used to work. Meh.

Next: Drowning in bunnies icons.
I must rediscover the source of the bunny tsunami I has pictures of.
I know the Zatanna cover with the bunnies, that's a good one, but the big wave I lost there where.


I also rationalised my icons a bit, so now I has 35/39. When I'd made two versions I decided on one of them and gave their keywords to the other. I think that'll mean everything still shows up a more or less relevant icon.

So, I went to bed early.

Neighbour people decided that was the perfect time to start something with hammers.

I unwent to bed.


Made icons instead.

Turns out Oz only ever turned up for class in the first episode of season 4, and there he's really fuzzy in the background next to Willow. He is in the dream in Restless, but not looking particularly studious, because whispering to Tara. They look snuggly. I get interesting bunnies. But it doesn't look much like college.

So, I found Oz+paper.
This is somewhat flawed as a college study picture because I think he's actually reading that note the vampires left saying Buffy quit college. But he looks all concerned and serious. So I figured this would do.

It needs a caption of some sort. He's obviously saying something. It could even be funny.

I can't think of anything right now.

Made an icon from Spike: Old Times

The art in that didn't suck, but it is a bit bizarre. The hair has so much more detail than everything else the characters basically look like cartoons wearing wigs.

Didn't 100% like the story, but didn't hate it much either.



I looked through the Buffy: Origins comic for icons, but there weren't any Buffy pics that I would look at and think 'yup, that is Buffy, and only Buffy, for certain'
And yes I know comics aren't like photos, just...

There has to be a comics icon community, yes? Yet find it I cannot. I found a Dawson's Creek icon community, but not DC comics.

... Stolen comics ought to be woe as well, yet I quite happily torrent them. I'll be buying Seven Soldiers later, when it all comes out in booklikes.

I don't know why, but this one particularly grabbed me and said it had to be an icon.

Its Batman being pulled underwater to be drowned, in grey dark waters under a full moon.

Or, Batman wavey! Wave at Batman!

... Nope, not really cheerful...

I just like it. So I made it be the right size.

Its kind of creepy.

The End??? Huh? So, what, 100 pages of fight scene and he gives it to Superman?
How does that make sense? Superman is hugely vulnerable to magic. Giving him a magical artefact is stupid. Captain Marvel, maybe, he could stash it in the rock or something, but Superman? Dumb.

Mind you, none of the dudes fighting about it in this were magic.


That was a big waste of time as a comic. Its like someone thought "Wouldn't it be cool if the Dark Knight was a grail knight" and then ran out of bunny.

But the art is kind of distinctive pretty.

These didn't come out quite the way I wanted yet
and saving them as jpgs completely messed up the colors, so I had to go back and redo them as gifs
and now I'm sort of looking at them sideways and thinking someones probably done it better already.

Anyways. Icons.

Okay, I was digging through some old folders, looking at art I did years back, and I found these. I made them for a funny for Chronicles 99. I'm sure they had context, if only in my head. But now they're just kind of sitting here. So I just spent the last bit of a while turning them into icons.

Hugs are these cute little model thingies that you can buy and send to people. There are angel hugs and regular hugs. The dead Horsemen obviously get to be angel hugs. Richie is pinned back together, so he isn't an angel. Methos doesn't need pins.
