Honestly, I think Rusty has a bit of a problem with women in general (the nagging mothers, evil women like Cassandra* and Mary, lovesick women trailing after the Doctor) and it tends to show up in lesbian relatiships just because they're, well, both women.

And I HATE, HATE, HATE the way they keep wibbling between Gwen and Ianto. Maybe it fits Jack's character, but did the only person whose sexulity is named as non-monosexual have be to a giant manwhore with committment issues? The only other character who's in a same-sex relationship who's probably bisexual is Ianto, and they never really delve into his sexuality.

*She's trans, though- I'm not sure whether that's a good or bad thing, considering her character.
