if by 'really good at teasing that stuff out' you mean 'can see it anywhere', that's pretty accurate.

hmmm... last time I beta read for someone it went a bit Horribly Wrong and there was the email equivalent of shouting and never talking to again. I have opinions quite loudly, and my tact is pretty much broken, so.

does the SF turn out to be real? are there secretly vampires? Is there a sword fight?
... I find if it lacks all those elements I tend to get bored and wander off.

my icons are white people cause I'm white people and they're like face masks.
but some of my icons is reanimated dead people, men, or cartoon animals, so it's still pretty weird that I have a line there.
