Has so much squee

You know, I woke up, feeling crap, it's one in the morning and I can't get back to sleep, and about all I could think of was essay, lack of.

Then [livejournal.com profile] calturner says to look at the red button on a BBC channel.

*very big happy grin*

Freeview 302, on loop so you might start in the middle. Torchwood preview.

Oh. My. Goddess; that's hot.

Also smart and funny around the edges.

And... Spike tongue?!

Fun and hot and I've been sitting her watching it for at least ten minutes now.

If you press blue and get the Information there's a 7 page much more spoilery description of the episode.

... if it weren't for my current essay deadline of doom I'd be wishing myself into the 16th right now.

Oh this sounds so brilliant cool.

(no subject)

I think all the words I have written for my essay so far are No Good. I don't think they answer the question. Also they're not very interesting.

I got a reply from the computer help. Apparently it's not just me, blackboard is busted and nobody can use it. So, you know, not cool.

I learned a new word:

im·bri·cate
adj.
Having regularly arranged, overlapping edges, as roof tiles or fish scales.
v. im·bri·cat·ed, im·bri·cat·ing, im·bri·cates
v.tr.
To overlap in a regular pattern.
v.intr.
To be arranged with regular overlapping edges

now I know the meaning I know why the book uses that word.

It sees the film in a different pattern to how I do. It's somewhere in between interesting and annoying. And arguing with the book will not actually get my essay done.
