The trouble with 'Tom' is that I'm never, ever, naming a character after my dad. He can stay out of it.

Also, it's based on Commonwealth ranks, which are based on the RAF, which means no Majors as pilots. And Captain is higher than Major.
... this is why I'm rewiring the ranks to only have one sort of Captain.
