other things that happened today that were not Avengers

The cleaner was here and gone at lunch time and said she'd be back next Monday.
Then I went and got lunch at Morrisons.
Also I went to the hairdresser and got an appointment for next Thursday. It's not as long as it usually gets between cuts but there's no reason to leave it to go all Einstein, especially when there's a thing to go to.

I went to toy shops and looked at toy guns for costume purposes.
Cheapest would be two from poundland. They're only dark blue though. I quite liked the orange camo pattern ones because there's no way to mistake them for anything other than a toy. Nerf guns are expensive and the things they fire don't look like fun. Star Wars guns don't seem to light up or make a noise or anything and are muchly expensive. But there's lots of cheap toy gun options that make a lot of noise.
While I was testing the noises I was going along the shelf pushing triggers and it was like, ratattat, brrrrrr, pewpewpew, and then suddenly one started to vibrate.
They has a light up special sounds vibrating gun.
... I think we know which one Jack would buy.

*facepalm*

I don't know if I'll get any of them, but I did lol in the shop quite a lot.

It irritates me that the guns were in the section marked 'boys toys' and the pink section for 'girls toys' was all cuddly dolly things. Like all the Avengers toys were in with the boys guns things. (Cap's shield is sized for like two year olds. This remains no fair.) I don't think Widow's stuff was one of the toy options. Gender. :eyeroll:

So then I went to the film with mum, and after was
NSFG at the pub, which I haven't been to for pretty much a whole semester. Is no good, not talking all that time.
I started talking about Avengers and we ended up talking comics and associated adaptations all night.
... possibly more careful turn taking and including the other half of the room would work out more better.
I have much plenty to say about comics and myth and I think I made small amounts of sense but it's easier to talk on here, I can put my thoughts in a row and people don't talk over the top of each other so much. Also I can reference things properly. It irritates me to not be able to link to where I learn things.

Now I am home again.
Busy day.

Tomorrow is only sleep and dancing lesson though, so, that should work out.

dancing

I went to Bollywood Sparkles dancing lessons and learned more dance.
It's annoying, I'm better at it at the start than at the end. Or possibly I'm best at it on the second try. But by the end I'm all tired and my feet get muddled and my hands won't do all the things at once. And it's only an hour long!
I think I need to do more active things the other six days and twenty three hours of the week.

After we went to Sainsbury's because unlike Tesco they still have quorn food, and like Tesco they're on the way home. so I read all the packets and found food I can eat that can go in the microwave. Most of it is the same usual food but being actually available means it wins.

Now I have one cool bag with a polar bear and one with a penguin.
I feel like I should keep them at opposite ends of the kitchen or something.
