... but, but, writing!

Dreamed I was in a writing masterclass preparatory to starting a new series of Highlander focused on Methos. Had written a sample script and the dude in charge was all :-) about it and using it for examples. We were going over a whole ‘where do plot bunnies come from’ plan based on ‘romantic talmudic discussion with swords’ and I had so much to say and it would all turn into making Methos meet all the people and it was going to be so cool.

… then I woke up.

Peter Wingfield was pretty cool. Was? Well, is? Maybe? I am inspired to see what he and Valentine Pelka have been up to since I used to see them in things.

Wow, I don't think I've seen any of Wingfield's work in a dozen years. He was on Sanctuary? I didn't remember that, but I only saw a few of those.

Oh, did Queen of Swords ever make it over there? He and Valentine Pelka (Kronos in Highlander) were both in it, though Wingfield wasn't in all the episodes. It's pretty American, I guess, being a riff on Zorro. International cast, though. I used to be amused that they had seven regulars, and each had a totally (and sort of justifiably in most cases) different accent, from generic modern USA accent to fake stage "Spanish" accent to actual thick Spanish accent.

I have probably mentioned it. Not a lot of Wingfield, but kind of fun as a sort of light "Western" set in old Spanish California.
