DS9 season 4 disc 2
Our man Bashir = too cute, therefore *facepalm*. I like the spatula in the holosuite repair.
Homefront / Paradise lost = facepalm for whole other reasons. It was the military being gits, not the president. They decide to get rid of the security and go back to living by their principles.
... can I go live in the Federation?
Course there's several seasons I haven't seen yet, I should probably reserve judgement til I see how it works out.
... actually, no. they seem to be having much more fun.
I like that DS9 is twisty and political. All sorts of fun stuff going on.

Though the Cardassian/Bajoren war was a barely hidden WWII holocaust reference that's still okay because as the series progresses they handle it well enough. Only a few facepalms here or there towards the end from what I can recall with the Bajoren story arc going a bit '...huh?' in a few spots.
