Doctor Who season 4
Doctor/Master
really rather good.
I waited until it was finished to rec it. It's 13 complete little stories, virtual season style, and they all fit together.
Wraps up tidy at the end, but doesn't make the key things easy, so it works.
Doctor/Master is rather like Giles/Ethan except for how all the specifics are different. It's one of those things where they're enemies and getting them together means negotiating big philosophical differences and finding out how they actually fit. Also it's one big power struggle with one or the other of them ending up in chains quite often. So, fun.
Also there are other characters in it. And they're all good. Which is win.
