Oct. 25th, 2007 04:00 pmAm steadily going through my leaflets collection.
There's an amazing amount and variety of things to do. A vast amount of which close this weekend. Especially the kind of things that are indoors in the warm.
Really, what's with that? If you want to wander around a garden or a nature reserve or something, you can do that November through February easy. If you want to freeze and turn blue around the edges, you are entirely allowed to. However, if you would rather wander around some shiny old house? Better be summer.
I'm not sure I even want to go to any of them places that are closing, yet I find myself irritated with it anyway. Logicworld, becca is not an occupant.
Also found somewhere that's running one day courses in how to use ebay. For £50. Each.
*blinks*
... 10 credits towards a degree course is only £128 at UEA, what on earth do they think you can learn in a day that's worth half that?
There's a once a month book club that reads authors I've never heard of and costs £2 per meeting. Blah.
There's got to be better book clubs than that, right? Maybe meeting in coffee shops somewhere and not being in leaflets. How to find?
There's a whole lot of music. If I wanted to listen to music I could do so. A lot.
... I do not generally listen to music and have not the first clue what music I would like to listen to live.
There's art exhibitions. That sounds more cool. And there's the really easy to get to Castle Museum with a pop in for a pound hour twice a day. Sounds like win to me.
Actually, the more I'm researching, the more I remember why I never really went out much even before it was scary.
Still, onwards! I'm paying this person a bunch of money per week, I shall therefore use the time.
Starting with bowling. Which may or may not turn out to be amusing. I do not know.
