I'm making up a character, so I went to play with the dollmaker to make one that looks like him.
... kinda sorta maybe. Er, him in my head is doing a running commentary on the options. Is most informative.

On the dollmaker you can have cat ears and fox tails and they're all animated and stuff, or a set of devil or angel wings, but you cannot, at all, get any kind of walking stick. Or even an umbrella.

Unless you take the whole outfit from the dress up section. Sticks are clearly only for magic or fighting, never just a desirable accessory to go with an outfit.

There are plenty of magic sticks, but the outfits make all the dolls look the same, which is not cool.

I like the one looks like Monkey. Little dude with a magic stick in a totally insane TV show = win.

... I spend waaaaay too long playing with this pictures thing. But in the process I find stuff like the way the character is sort of bitter cause there's a sort of makeup scar you can put on but it looks like a neat little line and his looks more like he was scraped along tarmac for a whole bunch of feet. Stuff like that. Or just that he evaluates outfits in terms of 'this guy never once kept his lunch money'. And also 'not enough pockets'. And 'if I carried my bag on one shoulder like that I'd keel over before I got out of the house'. And all the 'cool' dolls only carry bags on one shoulder.

He started off looking for hair that would match his, and mostly found ones that looked like they really needed a haircut. Which, actually, matches his quite a lot, just not on purpose. And then he realised that actually he always wears the hat, so nobody can see it anyway. All the hats on the site look a bit girly. He wears a nato blue beret, only with a couple of iron on shapes on it, like stars and stuff. Soldier berets are not girly.

The first pair of trainers on the doll were so cool he didn't want to look at the rest. They were blue with red yellow and green stripes. But he'd like ones that were blue with red and white stripes too, because patriotic, sorta.

The trousers have pockets and zips. They may also have some iron on hi-vis stars, because he doesn't like being on the road and definitely doesn't want to get run over. His backpack definitely has hi-vis parts. And his coat sleeves. And he likes stars.

... also, he's the kind of guy who'll play with a dollmaker. Mostly he'd rather be drawing, but he wouldn't think up half these clothes, and it's kind of fun.

If there was a shirt with chalk and ink and a bit of paint all down it his doll would probably wear that. But only to work in. He has going out outfits too.

He'd figure out how many possible combinations there are. I boggle at the thought of it.
