Watched the film National Treasure.

... the 3D glasses of Benjamin Franklin?
The magic, sees invisible, 3D glasses of Ben Franklin???
That's just...
... kinda awesome.
It's like steampunk, only with pretty bits of US History.

Also, someone took all these bits and pieces and made an action movie out of them.
With a bit of a love story and lot of caper and a kind of history detective thing and that subplot where his father doesn't think he's a loser any more.
Greatness.

Glad you saw the cracktastic awesomeness of it. Love the flick, myself, for much the same reasons you mention. Hell of a fun ride.

Don't watch the sequel. It's... okay, but not the greatness of the original.
