I'm much less tired now I've had actual food.
the canteen at college was absolutely nuts today. There wasn't so much a queue as a complete inability to move until someone else had. I got crisps and went away.
Then I had lessons between 1330 and 1830 and did not figure out how to get more foods in the middle.
Need a better plan for next week.
On the plus side, I woke up at 0500 this morning (that's not the plus) and I'm still functional at 2030 (pretty big plus that bit). I was talking in lesons. To strangers. New people in new classrooms doing new subjects I missed last week.
And I didn't stutter.
Let's say that again for the awesome factor: did not stutter.

In fact my usual tactic of writing stuff down and turning the screen around felt superfluous. I talked out loud with words.
I think the fluency in Doctor Who class is actually carrying over to other classes.
Brilliant.
Also helpful was that I knew a whole bunch of stuff in Myth & Med. In fact I knew more stuff than got on the board today, cause I been doing reading. I made a bunch of comments to the 'lets find out what we already know' section of the day and stopped when she said it was getting a bit technical. I just think it's cool that they had a special trolley for wheeling out corpses, and a stick for putting gods on roofs. And the video we saw about Medea made the exact point with Medea appearing on the unexpected one of the pair. So I knew a thing.
We also learned today that her instructions to buy the Penguin edition of Medea were misunderstood by, well, either me or the majority of the class, and I think it's them. I bought the prose translation that is specified on the reading list. The majority have the poetry translation which is also a Penguin but not the one on the list. This is what happens when people don't read just listen.
But now she says reading lots of different translations is part of the course and comes up in the exam. So, guess that works out.
Children's Literature was mostly full of remembering fairy tales then looking up older versions.
Cinderella involves a lot more chopping bits off than I remember.
Also the mice and the pumpkin and all that are not in the older versions.
Then I packed up and trundled slowly home. I got the 1850 bus. Next one after that is another half hour. Either way I has 20 minutes to get to the bus stop from the probable end of class. I can do it if I don't grind to a halt somewhere.
This morning the bus wasn't just late, it was so late two turned up at once. Which turned my carefully planned morning into a whole rushing around thing. Which is extra super frustrating since I'd been ready to leave the house a half hour before that for a bus which may have been late but wasn't just missing. But I didn't want to sit around at college.
They've moved the printers at college. This resulted in my printing being put conveniently on top of the recycling bin by someone with no good manners. I found it, but I'll have to be a bit careful if I print at college again. On the plus side they said they haven't figured out how to charge for it from there, so it's effectively free. Awesome. Must print out my script ;)
Tired, achy, but have had food and drink and am home and in one piece.
