I think they started the story too early and ended too late. The actual story started when he woke up in hospital. And do we really need to know they made it through the gate?

I know, I know, never pleased, me. Don't like it when they all die, don't like it when they all live.
But if they'd just stopped on that freeze frame when it hit the gate then they would be cat in a box, which is a pretty good ending too.
... um, I mean, not-alive-not-dead like the thought experiment. Cat in a box is possibly not the most clear way to say it.

What else...

Knowing Christopher Eccleston it was too easy to know there was something a particular kind of Wrong about his character, just cause he's doing the accent.
But the 'two females' repeat gave away the whole attitude after.
... to my possibly too cynical mind.

What I liked best about this? The way things went along perfectly logically until he looked/acted no different to the Infected. Proving the bad guy's point - people killing people.

What I didn't like? She hesitated. Why? He hadn't been using words. She had every reason to think he was gone. So did she actually want out right then? Because I'm not buying that she realised at the last moment.

But it hangs together anyway.

Good film. Eerie and iconic images. Plenty of character to hang the gore on.
