That could have worked better

beccaelizabethWe went to the Thai food place to eat, because they have a menu with a gazillion vegetarian options and they were really nice last time. This time the people were still nice, but things got in a bit of a muddle and there was an ongoing lack of food situation. As soon as noticed it was fixed, and we got a great discount on our meals, and they offered to cook us some as take away, but... the eating parts, they didn't work so very well.
First I ordered vegetable spring rolls, but instead arrived King Prawns. They went back and made me vegetable spring rolls. I have three now in my fridge. Then I ordered mostly the same as last time but with coconut rice instead of jasmine rice. Coconut rice turns out to be kind of awesome, but tastes like rice pudding more than main course rice, to me. So I have a box of that for later. Someone else had jasmine rice and didn't mind sharing. But the rice parts were what arrived for me, and the not-rice parts for everyone else, and then there was the rice for them and the not-rice for me that didn't arrive. Eventually it turned out another table got it. They made us more food. But by then it was Very Late and the food came back in boxes. Mushrooms in very nice source, I has in the fridge also. I'm wondering if I should put them in the freezer cause otherwise I must eats tomorrow. Hmmm, yes, freezer. See if they're still nice later.
So the people were nice once they realised the mistake, but the food, it was error prone.
This is what happens when we go on busy all you can eat night. Now we know.
The people I was talking with were nice though. Conversation. With topics.
... one of the people at the food place took away a page of my note pad where I had written down the order (because my stuttering makes food ordering comedy time even without accents, so I has the habit). I cannot remember if it was a clean page or if there was something on the back. And now it's going to bother me forever.
But. Nice people. Talking.
