ye ancient stories
Jan. 13th, 2010 07:54 pmBeen putting more in the archive. A couple more squirmy embarrassments, and Dragon!, which I actually quite like.
Formatting is a bugger. It won't import the txt files from the other archive. It will happily copy off my html files on my website, but they're in many seperate parts, weirdly formatted themselves, and I think half of them still aren't uploaded. And anything copy pasted from my old txt files is fixed width at the number of characters used to fit in an email, and getting rid of all those hard line breaks would take forever.
I never thought of my stories as such a mess before, but then on the whole I haven't thought of them since the year 2000 at all. 90s html was special.
There's also the thing where one of my stories was co-written. I'll try the email on the file, but I strongly suspect they're not using it any more. So is it then okay to archive new anyway? Tricksy.
Also, I was weird and talked as if my grand magnum opus series would eventually get written. I know better now of course. :eyeroll:
Also also the further back I go the more my Issues are showing. Hence the squirmy.
