Tesco was here. They put my food on top of the sink so I could just lift and turn and put. You don't think about how much of movement involves twisting until something happens to make it awkward. Food all put away now. Also I ate. Also I re-read the leaflet that goes with ibuprofen. Not more than 10 days in a row, it says. I only have one yesterday and one today anyway but will not take them for more days than I should.

I been reading up on how to do voting. Also, how not to do voting. You can wear a veil and your pyjamas but not a really big rosette. You can bring a dog or ride a horse if you leave it outside but there is no rule about pigs. It's interesting.

I'm taking the dog. I was seriously contemplating taking the gerbils just to see what the polling station people would say but I'll take the dog as the polling station is next door to one of the places she likes to go for a walk.

My sister is a doctor. She always says that paracetamol is a good painkiller for when you need a break from the ibuprofen.

At the polling station I was standing outside for my third stint lots of people came to vote while walking their dogs. Most dogs waited outside, but one tiny puppy got taken inside under his owner's arm.
