So I played 12 hours of demo games 2 days ago, then a morning of bought games yesterday, then bought games today. And now I have finished 5/7 of the games I bought.

Games go *fast*.

Empress of the Deep was fun but has zero replay value. Also the 'hint' and 'skip' buttons are in the same place so I skipped a couple games I only wanted a hint for, and it would take hours to play back to the same place and try again.

Princess Isabella was fun, lots of variety of games, very pretty graphics. Also you collect mini games as you go around, so there's still stuff to do even after you've won. Is good.

Gardenscapes is just hidden object screens, fun enough, but then you buy a pretty garden with the moneys. And buy redesigning it. And you can make the butler feed bits of it or trim things or swing on the swing or do mini gold. And apparently you can make it be a screensaver, which would be pretty, but I'd get bored quick. So I liked it and may keep playing when in a hidden object mood.

Romance of Rome I finished twice in a row today. Hidden objects plus a couple of use-item-to-reveal, no actual engineering problems or anything. And you can buy stuff, but it doesn't give you any options about what stuff to buy, you just have to buy everything. Also you have to play as a guy trying to win the girl. I played it the second time to get more trophies, which I wasn't thinking about first time through. Second time I got all of them except the speed sort. I do not see how it is possible to go any quicker than I did, especially since I had so much of it nearly memorised second time through. But I've played it twice and it doesn't change at all, except maybe the order things pop up, which isn't enough variety to be interesting. All Done now.

Kuros was fun. I also played that twice, not for funs though. I got stuck outside the Obsidian Generals. I thought I was missing a piece of a puzzle because I'd tried all the pieces I'd found and they wouldn't fit, and I hadn't got any hint crystals, and there weren't any to be found by wandering back and looking, so I started all over again and played my way up to it with using as few crystals as possible. And then I found no, I really had found all the pieces. It was just being a fiddly pain in the arse about exactly which pixel you had to be pointing at before it would add the next bit of the statue. *rudeword*
Kuros was pretty, had some nice little games, and some inventive fantasy characters. Also it uses a lot of the same stuff as the Glyph games, like they're the same world. The little shrines and things you can buy playing Glyph 2 are the locations for Kuros. That was fun.
But as for replay value? Nada.

Books don't change on re-read neither, so have theoretical zero replay value... actually no, there's a different experience once you know the ending. I haven't found a game that did that thing some stories do where it's a whole different game once you know the ending. In fact thus far I've been stuck knowing the ending and knowing my character is being a dumbass but the game insists upon it. A whole bunch of games have you working for the bad guy for part of it even while making it real clear they're the bad guy. What's up with that? Is feeling smarter than your character really such a fun experience? Or do they each seperately think they're adding an interesting twist?

All this quickness is making me miss Cake Mania. I tried reinstalling that and replaying it. It still has all my game data even though I did remove program. And it still has all the glitches and stuttering. I'm going to have to figure out how to delete it more thoroughly and start again from the beginning and hope that fixes it.

Is reading about other people's games more boring than reading about other people watching TV? I guess TV shows happen so millions of people watch at once. I do not know of a game that does that.
