and a rather spectacular Quickening. Fireworks!

lack of moral dilemma, with such a purely bad bad guy, but some nice philosophy. Moving past the moves to the essence, not just about winning but about not losing.

So many times we see the soon to be deceased Immortal just sort of kneel there and do famous last words. But Mac doesn't quit, even while getting run through.


in shallow news, AP dancing pretty. Saunas, pretty. A lot of the flashback clothes, pretty. Richie pretty.

Highlander season 5: The Stone of Scone

... *facepalm*

I really don't like this ep. I know its meant to be funny, but I don't find it so at all. Incompetents all of them. Caricatures. No fun at all.

Also no fights, no swords, no Quickening, no moral dilemmas taken seriously (though actually the whole treason thing ought to be worth a moral qualm or two). Basically no point.

The pretty: Amanda in that little silky nightwear outfit. With legs showing.
And also, Fitzcairn, when not wearing a ridiculous wig.

The slashy: Mac and Fitz in bed, Fitz all over him. Okay, Mac doesn't seem very interested, but he is mad at him about politics. And he was quite disinterested in Amanda a minute ago. So that isn't exactly evidence of anything.
Also the way Mac reacted when Amanda and Fitz were both leaving. A bit like he'd been dumped methinks.
Me thinks many slashy things.


I only watched this one for completeness. I really don't find it worth the time.
