I think me and essay writing have this magnetic thing going on. You know, the one where we're the same sort. Sort of veering off by invisible repulsion whenever I get close to actually doing something.


... I thought I wasn't worried about this one. And yet, written it is not.
Plus I have that whole 'massive boredom' thing going on.
Blah.

I don't know how I ever do any of this stuff.
Slowly and with much complaining and quite a lot of hiding I guess.

Hah! Intro Lit 2 assignment 1: 1,099 words on a 1000 word assignment +/- 10% (not counting poem or, I hope, title)
And I put a Bibliography on the end and everything.
Even though I didn't do any quotes. Half of what I thought was out of the book but it wasn't in quote form so I'm not quite sure how to say so. I shall ask someone at college tomorrow.

But look: Only 2015 the night before hand in! I improve!

It doesn't include half the stuff I've been fiddling about finding out. Hardly any of it actually. But it does have a proper essay shape and a lot of words all in a row and it tells quite a lot of things that I think tick the boxes on the assessment and, importantly, my eyes are going fuzzy and I don't want to play any more.

... I do need to find that YouTube of GDL at the convention talking about the stopwatch. Because it is in fact relevant to my essay, seeing as I more or less quoted it.
Anyone happen to have the link?

I'm going to go lie down somewhere. Maybe eat some cake.


... oh joy, there's a group presentation thing I'm supposed to have a powerpoint ready for tomorrow.
... well, I do, it's just a *really lame* powerpoint.
Sod it, it's basically pass/fail and if we hand it in we pass. I'll acquire powerpoint skillz at some later date.

Have decided to take TOSH the new laptop to college tomorrow.
Which is New and Change and therefore Scary.
But it has all my notes copied over - so far seem to be readable too - and it has Inspiration and PowerPoint on it, and I have stuff in them.

So I just packed my new customised backpack and figured out which pocket the plug fits in and which I'll use for the mouse (because I still haven't got the hang of that pad thingy) and which one is for folders. It's very cool.

I still need to glue the Betan Astronomical Survey patch on.

But the ImpSec eyes are already pinned on each side.

I was going to pack orange juice and be all prepared and stuff but I just tried the juice boxes and they taste peculiar. Like quite different fruits than usual. Fruity but not like the bigger boxes. Don't know what's up with that. Hope they don't new-and-improve my juice.

Still have to put the Vorkosigan pictures on it... or not, actually, I'll have to put my files on the college computer to run them anyway, I can find the pictures links then. Sorted.

I could do more reading for class but if I do then I'll want to put it in my essay and then it'll get un-finished again. Reckon I'll go read Cetaganda instead.
