I had my sunday breakfast, and bought food like breakfast and bread, and then I went through the factory shop on the way home and bought an outfit for £30. Three items for £30 works out, yesno? I usually buy things for £3, but I'm starting to realise that (a) this is why I'm running out of trousers and (b) it probably shows. So, I got a plain black cardigan, a plain black pair of trousers (size 18 short - don't know if they fit, but then most of my trousers are only vaguely me shaped. I should probably do something about that.) and a sparkly black and silver top. That cost £14 and I wasn't sure I wanted to spend that much on it, so I decided I would buy it if I could find trousers. Which in my mind roughly translated to a hell freeze scenario, cause I've been looking for months and they mostly have size 12 or something. But then there were trousers, and I think I like them, and I think I like the top, and I thought I liked it all the other weeks I looked at it, so now I own it.

Considering how much money I have sitting around I should probably get less worried about spending it. But being worried about spending it is how I have that much money. And I have plans to spend it on interesting things like going to plays, which costs a bit more than the cinema.

So, anyways, successful shop.

I should probably find things to do that aren't shopping in a shop that I don't entirely like. I could decide to spend proper money and go shop places I do like. In Norwich or online.

Next: Have a bath. Possibly read a book. Probably not both at once.
I like Sunday.

I watched Elektra on FilmFour.
After a while, I continued to watch it only out of a kind of ongoing fascination of the train wreck sort.
That was just... not very good. At all. I mean... eew.
The martial arts were just not up to scratch, the glowy CFI effects were kinda pointless, I've seen children's television that managed more creepy, and the psychological level was as messy as everything else, making it all a bit pathetic really. Oh, and the bit where the girl was being attacked by snakes was just... *raised eyebrow*. And the thing with the woman with the poison kisses was just not even *facepalm* because it's too dumb.
Also, even many comics have learned not to put female martial artists in high heels. Okay, with intermittent backsliding, but really, eew. And that outfit didn't work in 3D or when she moved. It was all very well when she was posing face on, but the rest of the time it kind of bulged or stuck out in weird ways. That's just not at all useful.

And to think I could have spent the time watching Doctor Who. or writing. or reading for college.

I did watch Girl in the Fireplace when it was on earlier. Is still veryvery good.

I wants to write for Doctor Who. I should probably start with fanfic so people can do the point and laugh thing on a smaller scale.
