I set the recorder box to record a whole bunch of Blakes 7 the last couple of weeks, saving it up to listen to in a row because listening to half an hour of anything just seems like eating nibbles. The recorder box had the 'season record' option or whatever it calls it, so I thought it would get them all. But nooooo. Apparently it only got the ones actually called Blakes 7. There was also one last Saturday that had a different title, and the box didn't get it at all. I think it was this thing, but from that description I couldn't figure out if it's stories at all, but it sounded like stories when the voice talked about it at the end of the story Traitor, which says 2/3 on the end so you'd think there'd be a 3/3. But the rest of the box is just The Early Years, which has different numbers and isn't the same thing. So now I don't even know for sure I need to hunt it.

I think it's on discs to buy. I'm not sure I'd want to buy it. It was doing interesting things, more nuts and bolts worldbuilding with sciencey sounding bits, and also more different accents which always helps in audio. I'd probably buy it for cheap, or if there was lots of it to get stuck in to. I don't know.


I'll listen to these Early Years ones and feel vaguely grumpy.
