If Quickenings are that much fun then suddenly it all makes sense...

Last night's dreams were most excellent, involving the world's oldest Immortal, and tongue.
Also, interesting things to do with Quickening. Cause we know from Jack that transfer of glowy life force = really good kissing.

There was also the bits where I had to fight the Kurgan in full on scary helmet mode, and I got my arms all sliced up, and there was a bit about some guy claiming to be an Egyptian god who could create Immortals. He actually could, he just probably wasn't a god. He was a mortal who had discovered what Quickenings on Holy Ground could do. There was a hundred mile circle of Africa where there was absolutely no life - the Q siphoned it all off and poured it into him. Now he was in Paris, starting a huge fight between a bunch of Kurgan level Immortals on one side and Duncan and Methos on the other, and the barge was drifting towards sanctuary... a hundred miles around Paris would be a whole lot of life...

He made me an Immortal of course. Because it's my dream. And I was working for the good guys, who needed a bit more help to survive as far as Holy Ground. And also I'd be an easy kill once we got there. It was a real good system from his point of view - get a mortal, make them Immortal, kill them on Holy Ground and power up to even higher levels of godhood.

Frankly I could have lived with much less plot and much more Methos licking up the side of my neck and... well, that. But hey, plots make for future bunnies.


Later there was a dream where everyone was doing a comedy review about alien invasion and making racist alien jokes and I had to get up on stage and give a speech about the wonderous variety of the universe and also btw I met the first human and it was a little screamy messy baby like the rest of us and pretty cool really but not all that and... my public speaking may need a bit of practice at staying on point, but there was lots of cheering. And then it got into ethical discussions about if you have time travel why did WWI still happen and all that. My dreams never stop with the cheering.

I have watched two whole discs of Stargate season 10 and for half the last episode I was mostly checking my email, despite there not being any new messages. Methinks I'm done with it for the day.

I like Stargate. But it doesn't so often grab me and twist as some shows do. Okay, as Torchwood and Doctor Who do at the moment. It still has it's moments, but I'm not as invested in the 'verse.

I do, however, like the kind of outfits that involve leather corsets and metal shoulder pads. And all that armour with the twiddly engraving. Shiny.

... also, I kind of fancy Baal. He's so totally my type. Snarky, successful, and sociopathic.
... I need a new type...

Of course Daniel's totally my other type - clever, compassionate, and way the hell too self sacrificing for his own good. Which is actually a bit of a problem from a dramatic tension point of view - it's no longer 'Daniel in trouble, oh no!' it's more like 'Daniel in trouble, it's his annual near death experience then'. *shrugs*

Vala's sort of somewhere in between. And also, did I mention the corsets? Cause that look really works.
She reminds me of Amanda. This is all kinds of good.

I have two discs left. When they are gone I'll have to start watching Atlantis or something. I gave up on Atlantis on account of it being persistently annoying. Meh.

Okay, I think I go sleep now. Has headache, has lying down in dark.
