I went to Norwich and got pictures signed by Gareth David Lloyd, Kai Owen, and Tom Price.
:-D

I started lining up just after 10. I got out just before 2.
... feet. so. tired.

If I think of it as an hour in line each it's slightly less... well, no, actually, it's still a really long time standing in a line. I was 12 people the wrong side of their lunch break. I understand humans need to stop to eat, but I haven't yet today cause by the time I remembered to I was feeling too sick. Oops. And I had to use the toilets in the Forum, and that meant another line and lots of crowds. And then Norwich on a Saturday has PEOPLE. Like, many people. Many plus many. I think I like it much better when there's not so many people.

But. I bought the audio plays on CD, and a Big Finish audio, and had spent enough to get 1 autograph with each guy. And then I took the photos I got at the Hub 2 and got them signed. And now I has happy :-)

I talked also. I had a plan what I was going to say but then KO asked what was on my shirt, and I had worn my Torchwood Sonnet shirt. Luck of the drawer, it was on top. So then the three guys were reading my shirt sonnet - could tell from the lips moving - and then I had embarrassed and not saying what I planned. I did say it was what I wrote for Intro Poetry. I might have got the grade wrong though. I was flustered. And also, they probly don't care. So, they asked if I was going to the Hub again and I said yes gold ticket and KO said he'd have to go then. And then they tangented talking to each other about who is going. James Marsters is going, said GDL. ... he is such a fanboy.

People in line were interesting as always. When GDL first arrived and got out the car there was actual screaming. And, er, a queue full of *facepalm*. I thought *facepalm* first but then I thought hey, squee more, fangirls! Have the most fun! It's all good. Only then after lunch the teenagers lined up in front of me decided to fake squee at KO, which was less fun because they're trying to take the piss. I likes KO. Although, they might have been real squee and pretending it's fake cause they were being mocked by their peers.

Was it someone from LJ had the "Me and Mr Jones" t-shirt?
I saw some people in Hub t-shirts too.
And some people had travelled some to get to this. I'm local, I just went in a different day of the week than I usually do, but there was a lot of geography going on.

The Invaders turned up again, three Daleks. It's always fun watching kids with Daleks. There's the initial phase of lurking near parental units, and then there's the darting in and out, and at some point there's always some very small tail of kids who have discovered the Dalek blind spot. And then there's the macabre contest for who can get fake killed the most often, or the most ways. One kid ran up and declared loudly "I just got sucked!" and everyone who heard that oddly tried not to laugh because clearly small children shouldn't be heard that way. Only then he started a trend and all the other kids were running and yelling it too.

Summer people were also wandering around. Usually the tendency of males to leave most of their clothes off as soon as summer is in distant view is a bit unfortunate, but today there was an unusual proportion of win. Also there were lots of street performers doing circus juggling and stuff - I couldn't see most of the 'and stuff' from the standing in line, but some of it got thrown in the air real high and there was lots of cheering. There was a bloke on a bike advertising the Sainsbury Center art shows. There were a couple of people wandering up and down the queue with sandwich boards protesting something about Israel and Gaza in really bad handwriting. And there were the usual assortment of notable fashion statements. One lady with most of her head shaved except a sort of ponytail fountain of colorful little plaits looked interesting, but then she pulled the plunger out of a Dalek, which is just rude. Quite a lot of people I wanted to ask where they got their hair done, cause great colors or much height, but then I remember, I wear the hat, there's no much point really.

I listened to more Doctor Who audios. "The Angel of Scutari". It was good, but quite a lot of it was quite quiet and I couldn't really hear it without covering my ears and then I'm standing in line with my hands over my ears and my hat pulled down and, well, anyway, I'm not the most interactive person in the world at the best of times and should just stop worrying about it. The story was good. But then it ended and Ace was all "Hex!" and there should be another episode! But nooo. End. Eeep!

I listened to Enemy of the Daleks last night. That was very good too. Though there's one character called Beth who spends a bunch of time sobbing about poor dead Becca, and I don't really like being declared dead even when I know it's not this Becca, so that was odd. But there was action and adventure and really good stuff. So I like this little subset, the twisty thinky one, the future action adventure one with a moral choice, and the historical. All good.

On the way home I listened to a 5th Doctor one in that Key2Time set. I didn't read the name. It's okay so far but the bus was very loud.

I need louder listening gear or something.

Today: Very good.

Now I must eats something and go sleeps. I had liek 4 hours sleep and got up and stood in line 4 hours. You don't want to know the typos I'm making.

Before I fell asleep all my bendy bits were complaining. Which I found unfair. I know why my legs were annoyed, but my elbows joining in was just ridiculous.
Now I've had a couple hours sleep
I feel vaguely like I'm breathing through a damp towel
and my muscles ache.
Not instead. More as well.

Probably if I moved more often this would be less of a problem.

I had intended to go sleep for the night, but noooo, my day/night schedule will not be budged. I'll be up until 0400 again, I can tell. Is very unhelpful.

Clearly I need to move to a planet with a different length day.

Or possibly just socialise with so many parts of the world there's always one awake.
Oh, wait... *waves hello*.
