am working on my essay. mostly.

It's kind of wearying reading crazy person point of view.
also the more I read the less idea I have how to write about it.
at this point I'm thinking I'm just going to pull a couple paragraphs and ignore everything else.

Old fic

I found some fic I wrote on the Wayback machine :-)
... I couldn't find it anywhere else. Logic says it should be in a file *somewhere* on my computer, because logic says I wrote it on my computer and never delete anything. But apparently no. I have poked and prodded and searched and no, my highlander fic is only mostly here.
There were stories I wrote straight into email to a mailing list that appears to no longer exist to be archived on a page that no longer works.

But Wayback found them for me.

... and then I get to look at what I was writing ten years ago.
*squirmy*

... everybody gets all embarrassed at their old stuff, right?
... oh dear.

so now I've found it I have a dilemma: do I want to post it somewhere more findable and admit it's mine and everything?
Or shall I just hide until I stop feeling the horrible dread that maybe I never got any better?
