weather!

there was a plan for this afternoon. when made, the plan involved no weather warnings and predictions of sun. Now? Yellow with orange next door, possible heavy snow, and right now, sleet. Which is rain that can't decide if it's snow. If it decides it's snow apparently it will be heavy.
So first I looked out the window and thought 'hmm, light rain, no worries' and decided to go out. But then there was an hour of delay and by the time all was ready there was big flakey snow happening instead. So then I decided, actually, no, it's not that important. And now? Speckly rain! So I don't know how to make decisions in this weather, but I decided on the warmer, drier, safer for traffic version and stayed home.
Weather makes me feel foolish. Plans are supposed to happen, but then all this ... chaotic systems which cannot be predicted... goes and happens instead... erm, I really shouldn't be complaining about that, should I? But if I was better at dealing with chaos I wouldn't spend so much brain space on it, methinks.

good things: warm, dry, clean house, food arrived, still have chocolate brownies left cause I only ate 3 since yesterday, and I have books to read for college that are quite interesting thus far.
