Titles and dates and reading habits
Jun. 8th, 2010 11:26 amYou know how you read journals by scrolling down and paging back until you find the first new one, and then going up again?
You know how the titles are at the top of the entries so you end up seeing them last because you're scrolling down-then-up?
Would it make sense to also have that data at the down end of things? Then it would be like HTML brackets. You'd get (My Title) My entry! (My Title)
Yes, people start at the top and write down, and it makes most sense to go all the way to the top before you start reading, but people who write say a linkspam or a bunch of different paragraphs that all make sense on their own, I end up reading from the bit I can see.
... is that being weird?
This entry inspired by reading half an article under a photograph that turned out to be a repeat from years ago, which it said at the top, but the top wasn't on the same screen as the rest.
