BFA 140 A Death in the Family

I like this one. Good plot. Good character driven stuff. Big twisty complicated things happening that play fair with telling you all the clues but still surprise you. And it fits the title. No cheating anywheres. I want to listen to it again right now.

College: big win :-)

I got my marks back from my exam today:

73%
*happy dance happy dance happy dance*

Work goes in, grades come out. Excellent.
(That's the top grade boundary, which would be a First if I got all the other grades together to make the average that good. Which I don't think I will, but I don't do the maths.)

Teacher also said lots of nice things about it in the feedback form. And the aspects for improvement section was all 'it would be an even better essay if you could address the problems with your writing style' ( Read more... )

So on the way home I went to the Television and Movie store and bought the new Doctor Who season 5 DVDs, with the shiny covers that look 3d, not with the metal box. And then at the checkout they had the new little sonic screwdriver. So I have one of those as well.
