Romeo+Juliet
Jan. 18th, 2011 06:28 pmI am all happy bouncy cause I looked at the module outline for next semester Textual Transformations.
We get to study Romeo and Juliet all semester.
and watch lots and lots of different versions of it :-)
And then make up one of our own :-)
... wait, we have to rewrite Shakespeare, that needs a big eyes of fear smiley...
but it's a writing assignment and a lot of studying Shakespeare and watching movies. I like it.
... R&J are not my favourite couple. To put it mildly. But that's for when I'm watching and thinking they should stop being stupids. For studying there is much of interest.
Also today I got access to the reading list and it's the teacher who lists everything and then bolds the most useful stuff :-)
And I already have read some of the everything and own one of the most useful ones.
I have this bubble of academic happy.
It's usually like this when I read the reading list, I get happy of knowing there's so much to learn.
Then there's the first lesson, when I realise how much I need to learn.
And by the time it's essay time there's, you know, despair, wailing, gnashing of teeth.
But I like the way it begins so well.
