AO3 Subscriptions

They're working now? Cool.
... wait, now I have to decide who to subscribe to.

See everyone on my f-list is saying their AO3 name ( beccaelizabeth )
and what they're posting soon (I'm not because I seem to be writing original short fic, just as soon as I start archiving somewhere that doesn't do originals)
but everyone on my f-list I am already reading
so do I want both?
or what about people where I subscribe mostly to read their fic? Do I move over and defriend them?
Actually since I can never remember why I subscribe and most people's lives are about the same interesting there's not really people who I only read their fic, there's just people who keep posting about their lives and I read.
But new people, if I only want fic, shall I go read their AO3?
Then what will that do to new friending?

Simples things up on the not-Dreamwidth places where friending would let random fic writers in on my whole journal.

But suddenly there's new opportunities for drama.



I think mostly I'll start with people I only found clicking around tags on AO3.
Which will turn into a really random list of Yuletide and Vorkosigan writers, come to think.

Romeo and Juliet are together in eternity

We didn't listen to 'Don't fear the Reaper' in class, but with the Romeo and Juliet line it at least counts as an intertextual reference to R&J, if not an actual adaptation.

But the line sums up for me the damage R&J did to ideas of romantic love. Instead of living happily ever after their ending transcends mortality, they're together eternally. So romantic!
*washes mouth out*

I quite like living. I think it's a basic prerequisite for getting anything done, including loving someone. ( talking about suicide )

... has anyone noticed this play is depressing?
Really deeply depressing.
How is that bloody romantic?

They die, and I don't see how that could possibly lead to being happy together.

How this got to be the model I do not know.

Breakfast

Last time I went out shopping with my employee specifically because I had run out of things including margarine.
I did not get margarine.
Today I went and got both margarine and breakfast.

*wins*

Also I took my homework with me so I got whole numbers of minutes of reading done. Yaays!

The roads had All The Cars today. I've gone out on week days and had not so many cars. Many many today.

Inside the shop were many generations of ladies for Mothers Day. There was an offer in the shop cafe so they got a free pudding with their lunch. Was busy.
