Thoughts on talking about sex

Are people expecting sex to be, I don't know, the biological equivalent of plug and play? Like, insert here and wait a bit and it all just works? I don't think human operating systems work that way, on account of having brains with thoughts in them. Compatibility is not assured.

But learning how a particular set works is the fun part.
