Stupid book
Sep. 18th, 2011 05:49 pmI have finished reading What a Carve Up by... I can't remember or read the book cover from here, the font is stupid. It's the book I was supposed to have read before the first lesson for Contemporary Narrative for Cultural Studies for college. That lesson now makes much more sense. Also I can see why we're studying this book for that subject.
It's still a stupid book.
I have resolved to only think about it in designated studying times.
Next I must read the handouts from that lesson.
... okay, I got up at 0400, next I must wind down and sleep, but next for college I mean.
Also must do reading for the Victorians lesson on Friday. If I leave it for Thursday there's no backup plan.
College. Blah.
... going back has reminded me how much I have come to dislike my chosen subject area. It says obvious things and it says them over again. It doesn't say how to fix them.
But I spent all summer attempting to live as I would without college and went more nuts than usual so until I think of another plan I must keep going.
Also there's only two years left. I've been studying since 2002. I can keep going the two years it takes to get a certificate out of it.
And Grandpa said he'd come see me graduate.
... I wish I could find something to read study that is all shiny and inspiring again.
