Happy birthday Doctor Who

23rd November 1963: interesting TV begins.
Not that I've actually watched the whole of that DVD, come to think, just the first episode.
Guess I know what I'll be watching tonight.

We're watching a TV show with a 48th anniversary.
Not just a TV show. TV, books, audios, comics, magazines and behind the scenes stuff.
It was always first with the new and shiny tech (that nobody quite new how to make look good yet) and understanding how it was made in all its various eras is a whole history of television production.

Plus it's still the most interesting 10 credits I ever studied.
Doctor Who: 48 years, and many more.

Success

Achieved: went to college, got the Maus books, found one can't go through the bleepy checkout machine, went to desk, got them out the old way, went up to classroom... found I had no food still, decided food was more important than being one minute late, went and got hula hoops, arrived back approximately two steps in front of the teacher. Did a lesson. Had something to say where the teacher said 'yes' at the end of all the sentences. Win! had not done the homework, couldn't find it, thought that was fail. Turns out nobody else could find it neither, so we watched it in the lesson and he will print out the other bit and hand it out on Friday. Something weird is up with Blackboard, it keeps disappearing and the BB he sees is not the one the students see. Also nobody is getting their emails. Usefuls.

After lessons I missed the bus by approximately ten metres. So I waited half an hour for the next one. I could have gone up to the bus station, but it would have taken all the minutes and been more work.
On the way home I nearly went splat cause the bus stopped quite quickly and I was busy stopping my bag from falling over before I realised I should be stopping me from falling over. Other lady in seat caught me. Bus driver probly apologised (though he could equally well have been telling us be more careful), I couldn't all the words hear past the Doctor Who. Haven't finished the Doctor Who.
Not a big bus success day then.

Went to Morrisons on the way home. Had egg and beans and chips. Cold chips but I was too hungry to complain. Then I went shopping but realised I was out of spoons before I finished the shop. So I have quorn steaks and bread rolls and orange juice and chocolate bites, which pretty much covers the bases, and I'll just have to shop again tomorrow, possibly online for delivery.

And now I am home.
