my subconscious is romantic?

Today I dreamed a fusion of Mortal Kombat and Labyrinth.
The visuals were probably even weirder than you're thinking.
There was dancing, singing, and a martial arts championship to the death.
Jareth didn't get much to do. I think his kingdom had been conquered by that evil dude from mortal kombat, Jareth just kind of slunk around the edges sulking and giving people pretty dreams. It was usefully distracting, sometimes.
The evil emperor kicked the mortal champion's arse pretty thoroughly, and the otherworldly princess couldn't do anything about it because even if she won the match it would count as a win for the emperor since he owned her. But if she married a mortal they'd be legally one person, so she married the champion, turned around, and saved the planet by kicking arse.
I did the wedding ceremony.
There was also a bit with me marrying Rayden, who turned out to be Connor MacLeod with the Prize, which isn't very original but was fun.
Really, it would be a very seasonally thematic dream, if there were less viscera.
