Norwich Science Fiction Group
Jul. 5th, 2012 12:21 amToday's topic: Colonial Independence. In Space.
Nobody else read Atlantis fanfic or CJCherryh so I had much to talk about and little to discuss on those.
Also there was talk of Blakes 7 and DS9 and Firefly.
And then there was talking about comics. which doesn't fit the theme, but I'm on a comics thing lately, so.
Was good talkings.
Norwich was full of very many humans tonight. Very. Many. Because there was the olympic torch thing, which I did not see nor want to. Too many humans. Even when we left the pub there was tons of people wandering around, including small child people who were worrying about barely staying on the pavement. I like it better when there's less crowds, but I'm pretty sure all the pubs were more pleased this way.
Also there was someone at the boat pull up place at the Ribs, which is like the second time I've seen that. They have a balcony over the river, there's a boat word for it, and boats can just stop at the pub right there. It's cool.
On the way back I went to Tesco and got lots of egg and potato omlette things. I should check the nutritional info on those but they taste so good. None my other things are there any more though so I sulk and go shop somewhere else. Which will be inconvenient because I'm much better at shopping near midnight than at most people times.
