I just watched The Lost Room, a 3 part mini series, recorded off Pick TV. The third part has banners saying ROYAL BABY BORN all over the screen. I can kind of sort of vaguely understand how people might want to know that at the start of the episode, though directly before the episode or slotted into those neat things called 'commercial breaks' seems more appropriate. But why did it feel the need to inform us again every 15 minutes? If there were that many babies they'd have a class full of them by now. Ridiculous.

The Lost Room was interesting enough to keep watching through three long parts. But its flaws were obvious early and often. I liked the set up with the Event and the Objects, there's plenty of mileage in that, and the warring factions about what to do with it, and all the personal motivations, there are excellent many possibilities.

And the actual plot filled the hours and kept rolling along nicely.

I just... I miss women. We're half of the world. More than. I miss women when we're not there being equally awesome. It's frustrating.

I don't know what I wouldn't find frustrating though, really, by this point, everything makes me grumbly.
