and then realised I'm not sure I've got any photos that show it off in its full and tacky glory.
I was a teenager and I thought a silver bead curtain and a lot of pasted together gold wrappers and printed out shapes could become a stylish window treatment, framing a screen printed bit of cloth that never has fit the window here but I liked plenty anyway.
... I still like it. I mean, I could see almost from the start that holding it all up with small nails and some wool was not optimal, but the generally glittery overall effect, I like.
But I need to do something more like actual functioning curtains. I mean, at the moment I can see the window in the TV screen until it gets dark. I think I can do something better than that part.
... and then possibly put the bead bits back up the sides after...
