When I see people talking about how Hawkeye is the weakest Avenger I get kind of cranky
because no, they're looking at it the wrong way up.
He's a baseline human that goes up against Avengers level threats with some sticks and a string
and wins.
The level of badass implied is exactly as impressive as the rest of his team
the A list
and in any Avengers team on team fight
he has as much chance of winning as anybody.


... though I'd bet on Tony
... unless it wasn't his movie, obviously.

They're all going to be best in different circumstances at different things
and anyone who cannot imagine Clint winning
has wildly underestimated his skill set.

Trying to clear out some Marked To Read fic
ending up at the back where it hasnt updated since 2012
am actually grateful to the orphaned story and the ones tagged 'abandoned', cause at least now we know.
read something from when SHIELD being HYDRA was new
abandoned after three parts
author stopped answering comments
and its their latest fic
are they okay?
phew, they bookmarked something this year, so probably.

... it's really weird the way people sort of stop existing when they go quiet.



I think that many years with no update equals might as well unmark it, so, also making progress.

now only 32 pages...
