I just read a sf story that depended on mars billions of years ago using the same set of musical notes and a language that could be decoded by probability math.

not even all of earth uses the same notes. let alone all of earth history.

and you cant do the probability thing to meaning, or even letters if you dont share some kind of notation equivalence already.

makes no sense.

I mean they could do an ancient astronauts psychic influence thing or say the rock talked to them and translated itself, but what was actually written makes no sense.

games success

I went to a games night in Norwich
met two out of very few people I a bit know
played Munchkin, won, had fun
but the other players wanted to quit before game was won so I feel like fail
and it was loud
and even happy noise banging the table makes me jumpy
so that was kind of a lot for one evening.
went home 8pm even though evening goes until 10.

will go again but its going to be a challenge with all that Loud.
