I am hosting christmas tomorrow, which with my current sleep cycle cold be a Thing, but mum already knows I slept 0600 to 1800 today and we have a Plan.

I just now checked the plates and such, and discovered the jug that gets used once a year for gravy is not precisely clean. Neither is the biggest bowl, suitable for quorn pieces. So I filled up the dishwasher and I'm running it now. I takes three hours forty five minutes, but that means it'll be done before 9. I hope it stays as quiet as I remember or the sleep thing gets even more complicated. Oh well.

I looked at a couple websites for suggested serving sizes for gravy, because I always end up with huge amounts left over. Other people's christmas is a bit bigger than ours. Ours could be bigger - granted only if I got mum to cook it and bring it over, but in theory it could - but I always eat as much as I want to anyway, so I don't know how other people make the food fit. We shall have quorns and steamfresh veg and roast potato mum makes unless that doesnt work and we have microchips, and then gravy makes it fancy. And for afters I have mince pies and chocolate brownies from the freefrom section so we can all eat them. All goes in the microwave and then we eat and then we watch Muppet Christmas Carol and that is christmas.

I look forward to it already.

But I hope I actually sleep first...

We did a Christmas :-D

... first try at 12 I had only had two hours sleep because my sleep cycle never cooperate. I was sort of spinny and mum cold tell on the phone. But this had been anticipated so we went to second plan and christmas started 1800 instead.

And they just left after Muppets Christmas Carol, so, pretty good success :-)

I made the quorns an vegetables - there are many leftover vegetables, I made two portions of each sort and we ate bits but there's a lot of unappealing carrots left. Mum brought potato and gravy, and also sort of yorkshire puds, but they were cold and not very good. Good try though. And we got it all on the table, which folded out correctly, on the christmas tablecloth with the gold stars, and the gold plastic 'charger' plates that are place mats for cold things, and the new sparkly red one did for hot things, and it all went as planned.

And presents went pretty good too. I did not wrap presents for my brother but brought a stack of dvds I'd bought for myself and asked him if he had them, and two he did not, so win. ... he has most things, this way there is not disappoint. I shall have to buy those again but I know Sainsburys has so no problem.

Mum had bought me a thing I saw in the shop and tried to show her but I couldnt figure how to send photos so I just described. But she says she has had it since November before I asked so big win. ... I realise most forty year olds would not want purple care bear with a rainbow heart on, but, I have purple care bear with a rainbow heart on! :-D Also a Wonder Woman and a Black Widow :-) Mum got the hang of presents this year plenty good. And I have a new notepad that was the last one in the shop. And also the sparkles dance gave us all nice sparkles to wear, so I have a necklace I can wear and some earrings that will need some work. Pretty good haul!

... my other brother got a text. I shall have to send a proper christmas when he's here this week. Maybe he likes games? Wonder if Elm Hill is open...

But we did food and presents and mince pies, though free from pastry is a bit unusual, but mum liked them, and then we watched Muppets, and that's another year done right.

I still haven't watched Doctor Who but I think I need a sit in the quiet before I start that. That was many things. Good things :-)

Merry Christmas
and nice day to all :-)
