Just read a story from November/December ANALOG and now I've got the shudders.
It was about a new disease that acid burns paper to ashes
and how it got into the Bodleian.

Today I was talking to mum about things to maybe do and she was like "there's never many people, maybe a dozen"
... we have different standards of Many...

Dancing has maybe sixteen people? the bit of the dance has eight beats and there's two lines of us, sometimes. but also the teacher and two watch and waits and maybe some new people who haven't done that bit before. And dancing time is not talking time, it needs a run up to word even one at a time.

so, not many people, just maybe enough I'll lose the power of speech...
*sigh*
