A multi thousand word epic where the main characters try and treat their PTSD with sex, just distracting themselves with whoever is handy, is a viable story
but not actually the one I wanted to read.


... I mean there's actually a lot of characters it would be perfectly plausible for
in several verses
because we put these guys through hell.


But in canon the ones most likely turn out all romantic and partners eventually, and that is the good bit
so this story is feeling very drawn out stuck in the not good bit
and also like a novel length PWP.

Mpreg and the law

today I am looking up laws around registering births
and because fiction, I was poking a situation where a man gives birth to a baby and then wanders off to Avalon with them until it's time for them to start school
without registering said birth.

far as I can find out, whoever gives birth to the baby is legally the mother
even if they are also legally a man.

Today I found a school with a coat of arms featuring DNA.
Book, keys, and a big DNA spiral down the middle.
I'm sure this says something about their educational philosophy but I'm not sure I like the possibilities...

Languages at school are more complicated than they look
especially if one of those languages is Welsh
and you're looking for a boarding school.

I can find boarding schools that teach Latin, and boarding schools that teach Welsh, but not one that teaches both.

They all teach French and Spanish though, and many teach Manadarin.

Which is clearly useful in the modern world
but not what the modern Hogwarts student is looking for...
