(no subject)

Salad makes sandwiches taste great
but I end the meal both hungry
and unable to fit another sandwich in.

not that I'm great at the whole hungry not hungry distinction anyway.
which is frustrating.


Also today I read a whole bunch of fanfics in a row that convinced me to delete from marked to read the rest of that author's work, and then a bunch more that I just skimmed to the end or didn't think added up to a kudos because humans don't work that way and the characters aren't recogniseable and similar reasons.


which is the same hungry not hungry feeling
but for reading.

It is frustrate.

Today I phoned mum at the correct time but it is not going to be a movie watching day.
We have a plan for tomorrow though.

I did the laundry, but the drying is having another go right now because it is not very dry.
I don't know if I get the settings wrong or what.

I finished reading Artificial Condition.
Murderbot is still the Most Relatable.
"So they made us smarter, The anxiety and depression were side effects."
ART is excellent also, especially the learning to watch TV and cope with the Feels.
I love how the world sketches in around Murderbot even while they are so focused.
Also, gender. Murderbot doesn't have one. Emphatically, after being offered many options. There are more than two genders. Murderbot says nope.

Again a 4.5 star book solely because short.

What else...
I changed the season in my clothes drawers again. If I could remember where the other season is then I wouldn't need to swap things over, but I didn't, so I was half way done, and then swapped. Warms are in the newer drawers and cools are in the main ones.
I have Too Many Pyjamas. They need more than one drawer. Some of them are very fuzzy, some medium warm, and some quite light, so there is an actual reason to have so many. But still. Many pyjamas.
Also many shirts, but almost all the sparkly ones say Thermal on the packet and are not in fact appropriate for June.
I got my Avengers t-shirt out again though. There's a seal of rassilon one too, but I been saving that for conventions for years cause I got it printed myself and can't find the files to replace it. Probably there are official ones now. But still. Avengers and SHIELD shirts can join the rotation, even if I feel a bit annoyed at the evolution of both institutions.

I plan to leave the house at some point and therefore will need to wear some of these summer things.

... I cancelled my support instead of rescheduling it or saying they should come here, that wasn't my best move, from here I can think of things to do instead, but I steer slow when I try to change things. And the Norfolk Show is not to be messed with.



I liked the thing I read today and did useful and did communicate.
