Aug. 19th, 2018 08:49 pmToday I plyed Sims and listened to Torchwood audios.
After five discs of that I have decided that Sims takes up too much concentration for that to work, because it was all a bit distant and blurry feeling, which seems like a waste of story.
I won't venture an opinion on how good the stories were, because Sims.
I will say Deadbeat Escape need warnings for suicide and implied abuse. But it was proper creepy. And Instant Karma involves a bus driver with the power to make people's heads explode, which was in the ad for it, but does tend to make one review recent actions to see how annoying one might have been.
I think the Torchwood was good stuff, certainly covered good topics.
I also listened two Lives of Captain Jack, which again seem likely to have been good. One features Jackie Tyler, who is proper grounded and makes an excellent contrast to all the alien stuff.
But I was distracted in that Sims way where the day passes and only your imaginary people do things. So. Am in fact tempted to listen again to hear them.
Typing on the touchscreen gets ever more annoying and keeps missing letters an making up whole words despite the settings saying autocorrect is off, so I'll stop and go read.
