Sims 4

Today I couldn't think of anything to do so I played Sims 4 with a new expansion
where you get to investgate weird alien plants taking over a town.
Unusually for Sims this ends up with having a boss battle.
Which I lost.
Which just means you have to go and resupply and try again
but
annoying.

And I lost because you have to recruit some people to help, but it turns out they'll only help if you're really good friends, so I had to stand around talking for Sims hours to persuade them to at least try and save the world
by which time
one of them really needed to pee
so he's really
super slow.

So important note on boss battles: pee first.

*facepalm*


I am also a bit concerned because my character has a science career
but
the only other scientist there
is the receptionist.

There's days you can't do the tasks because they require talking to people who aren't there.

No scientists, no tourists, nobody.

So I'm concerned the new bit broke the already bit?



Also it's annoying to have vampires when you aren't specifically playing with vampires this time. Like, there was a whole day wasted being fed on and growing garlic, because now vampires are a thing that can happen in your random house. Is there an off button for vampires? They're annoying.

But the actual new stuff is hilarious. You get the usual welcome party but they're all possessed. You try and make friends with the neighbours and they're all puppety. Is really daft.

So if I start again I'll do many things more efficiently, but, was a bit fun
and I need to go gather fruit and so forth and make better friends and have that boss battle over again.

and hope the scientist career goes back to working at some point.
