The Further Adventures of Lucie Miller
Aug. 7th, 2019 05:41 amThese were fun.
I didn't much like how the first one began, which put me off for quite a bit of the first story, but together they added up to a nice set of adventures.
Also Lucie got to save The Doctor a lot. ... which means he spends a lot of time unconscious or not talking, but, he is in the stories too.
I liked space roller derby, and things turning out to be made of people, and bone where no bone should be.
... this probably says more about me than I'd like...
It's not made of big feelings or anything, it's just adventure and excitement and saving the universe.
So, fun.
... though I did have to pause and have a Depressed because it reminds me very much of the first time I listened to these characters, which was when I started listening to audios at all, and things have... not worked out the way I thought they would back then. At all. So.
Not the time travel story's fault. Just makes it difficult to be enthusiastic today.
There was a thing I noticed about this compared to Torchwood, spoilers for both but technically given away in the titles of both: ( Read more... )
It is Science Fiction Group in like 14 hours, and now I have listened to one (1) science fiction. Well, 4 if you want to be generous and count each disc seperately. But that's at least something.
