It is a bit frustrating when it feels like a tag gets full of divorce fic.
Like, I can see the use in putting Past X/Y
but now mt OTP seem to break up more than get together.

for which I can blame canon
but still.

Today in fanfic tagging:
I understand why the alternate universe / alternate timeline version of that character didn't seem like Major Character Death to the author, because they've only been there like a page and their main timeline one is still alive, but I had not intended to read those characters dying horribly today.
So.
That's a thing.

In other news, I am not enamored of the way fic goes really far out of its way to land their OTP with a baby. Associated dead people do not an improvement make.
