Today I slept for about twelve hours, woke up after excellent dreams featuring a character played by Christian Kane, have been awake since 0530ish
and yet
have basically only played Mistral Mahjong

and received the shopping delivery, so that part at least worked.

it had no carrier bags because he said they don't do that any more. And the ribenas werw all individual instead of being in the bigger wrappers. so he had to stand there while I unloaded 24 ribenas 4 at a time, and all the other shoppings too. This does not seem efficient.

but I have food now and got around to rearranging the cupboards so there's space for at least some of it.

yep, this is a high achiever of a day...

NSFG worked again.
I was slightly late cause I stopped to buy some dvds.
but talking and game was achieved.

I think it was this one:
https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/70502/doctor-who-time-wars-family-board-game
flip board game. you roll a double, you flip the flip section, it makes it so you can't cross the yellow lines, and then you flip it the other way just when you think you're getting somewhere.
It was the most frustraging... I meant frustrating but honestly if game got longer rage too.
You just spent most of the game stuck in the little yellow squares waiting for the board to flip again. I flipped it at least twice to help my opponents purely because it's *really boring* when no one can get anywhere.

Also you have to collect Enemy cards to win, which is ... not a coherent story.

And you can battle other players for their cards. Which is another way the game just gets stuck going back and forth and back and forth for aaaaaages.

It says it's a family game and I just imagine a family playing this and getting
so
wound
up.

But the trivia cards were pretty okay. All about 11 and Amy and Rory, and there was one card we disagreed with, but pretty okay.

So at the end I flipped the board to let someone win because we had ten minutes left and I didn't care who won as long as we could stop playing
but
it was a nice evening
even if I'm never using that flip board again.

now I sleeps.
