task achieved

I thought the bulb had gone on my bedside lamp
but swapping the bulb had the same problem
so I ordered a new lamp
and put the original bulb in it
and now 🤞 it works 🌞

I also have two spare bulbs if this happens again, though the newest one is called 'daylight' and 380 instead of 300 lumens and was somehow Way Too Bright for sleepy spaces. and only the lamps take screw fit bulbs. So that's some money.

but basically, problem solved, and room still pretty.
