Jul. 7th, 2020 10:16 amI dreamt I bought a house for like ten thousand pounds, because it was this tiny little trashed looking shop front with one bedroom, but then when you went inside there were more rooms and more corridors and stairs and stairs and eventually it was like secretly mansion sized but in a really awkward layout that snaked around the spaces between all the houses around it.
And the shop front part had like a sea view because on a cliff somewhere, so probably it would fall in eventually, but if you kept going there was another front, on a street.
And in between was a tea room on a balcony over a gigantic ballroom.
I feel whoever sold it would notice all that even if the connecting doors was small, but You Never Know.
Also I dreamed these two javelin looking gemstones, like huge long things, ruby and sapphire, and they were full of souls, which is a thing that can happen in Pathfinder but usually takes one gem per soul. The sapphire one had souls that were like soap bubbles they were so light and clear, just glints of gold on them. The ruby one had souls that looked like soot smuts, not even smoke, too dark. So everyone assumed the ruby one held evil, except me, because it dont work like that. And you could release souls just by concentrating on doing so, so we did, and lots of people wanted to release the soap bubble souls but I was working on letting the sooty ones out. And then some of the souls wanted to get reborn as babies, and that was fine by me. People were like, you want to let evil back into the world??? And I was just annoyed with them, because I've never met an evil baby, babies are just babies. Rebirth and second chances for everyone, says I.
So I got turned into an elf because (a) the artefact full of souls had taken me up on the offer and (b) elves can have babies for many more years.
But I said I wasnt raising elf babies because they take aaaaages, which now I think on it is pretty selfish, but I was just thinking on how many one person could plausibly raise, and having to look after each of them for centuries really removes the advantage of years. So then all the babies would be half elves and half human, and grow up only a little slow, and that'd work out okay.
I was going to need so much money to raise them all though.
And also other people who did not already believe they were evil.
That's the sort of plot I never see. Save the world by figuring out how to have maximum babies and raise them right this time.
